Mentoring Men for the Master

THE FIRST STEP IN DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT

God will never reveal to you His UNREVEALED WILL if you are not willing to do His REVEALED WILL.

  1. God’s will for your life is that you be SAVED – 2 Peter 3:9.
  2. God’s will for your life is that you be SANCTIFIED – 1 Thess. 4:3-4.
  3. God’s will for your life is that you be SPIRIT-FILLED – Ephesians 5:17-18.
  4. God’s will for your life is that you are SUBMISSIVE – 1 Peter 2:13-15.
  5. God’s will for your life is that you  SUFFER – 1 Peter 4:19.
  6. God’s will for your life is that you SPEAK THANKS – 1 Thess. 5:18.
  7. God’s will for your life is that you are SERVING – Romans 12:1-2.

CONCLUSION:  God will never reveal to you His unrevealed will (your spiritual gifts) until you are willing to do His revealed will (the seven things above).  He will reveal His unrevealed will (your spiritual gifts).  Thus in discovering your spiritual gifts, ask yourself these questions: Am I SAVED, SANCTIFIED, SPIRIT-FILLED, SUBMISSIVE, SUFFERING, SPEAKING THANKS, AND SERVING?  If so, you are in position for God to reveal your spiritual gifts.  In fact, you are probably already using your spiritual gift, though you may not know its biblical name.  If you are not doing these seven things, I plead with you to do so that you can go on to discover and use your spiritual gifts.
