SEVEN STUPENDOUS SCRIPTURAL SOURCES of SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH in TROUBLESOME TIMES

  1. Promises of God – 1 Kings 8:56 – “… There has not failed one word of all His good promise…” – 2 Peter 1:4-  “…God has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises…”
  1. Prayer – Jeremiah 33:3 – “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’”  – Matthew 7:11 – “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
  1. Presence of God – Isa. 41:10,13 – “Fear not, for I am with you;   Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you,   Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” – Verse 13 –“ For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” –  Hebrews 13:5 – “… For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
  1. Purpose of God – Psalm 138:8 – “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” – Ephesians 1:11 – “… according to God’s purpose He works all things according to the counsel of His will.”
  2. Power of God – Jer. 32:17 – “‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” – Matthew 19:26 – “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  1. Providence of God – Genesis: 50:20 – “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”  –  Romans 8:28 – “And we know that God  works all things together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
  2. People of God – Eccles. 4:9-10 – “Two are better than one,   because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.”  –  Hebrews 10:24-25 – “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
