LIFE APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
1. In chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, Jesus dictates 7 letters to 7 churches. We will be studying the last letter to the church of the Laodiceans. Jesus follows a very similar pattern in each of these 7 letters. Please read the 7 letters paying extra close attention to the letter to the Laodiceans. What do you feel is the major difference between the first 6 letters and the last letter? Be prepared to discuss with your group.
2. If Jesus wrote you a letter of evaluation where you are today in your Christian walk, what would He say? What if anything, would He commend you on? What if anything would He have against you and/or possibly rebuke you for? Be honest, thorough, and transparent. Keep in mind that His judgement and ability to discern is unparalleled and perfect. He sees and knows your heart just as well as He does your outward behavior.
