Though I have not known all about you wives, I know you are exceptional ladies because of the high qualities of your husbands. For Example: Dwayne Fleming is totally sold out to MMM and never misses a meeting unless out of town or serious illness. Example: Neil Yopp lives 25 or more miles out of the city but shows up for all our meetings, including a 5:15 AM Prayer Meeting every Friday. I know that Robin and Donna are great wives. I realize that all the wives are making sacrifices and are also great.
So I am not kidding or being a politician when I commend and thank you ladies for being willing to sacrifice that your husbands can serve the Lord in such a wonderful way.
Now I want to raise a question and answer it: WHY IS THE WORK OF YOUR HUSBAND SO VERY, VERY IMPORTANT TO THE MINISTRY OF MMM? Simply because we must have more and more mentors to meet the pressing need. In fact we could not go a step further without them. Also an expert on fund raising has just told us that in order to get grants from foundations we must prove to them that we have a plan for “REPLACATING” our ministry by establishing new schools. This we are steadily doing and we must have dedicated men like your husbands to assist.
Now a second question: WHY IS THE COOPERATION OF THE WIVES SO VERY, VERY IMPORTANT TO THE MINISTRY OF MMM? Simply for this reason: Your husbands are able to sacrifice as mentors because you are willing to sacrifice them. In fact we undoubtedly have good men in our schools who may want to become mentors but their wives will not cooperate.
Thirdly, HOW DO THE WIVES PROFIT FROM MMM? Simply this: We are leading the men to be the husbands, fathers, leaders in the home that God has called and commanded them to be.
Final Analysis: It all boils down to ONE HUGE FACT: You wives are the key to the future of MMM. What a humbling and awesome thing.
One More Word: We often ponder what the will of God is. I have discovered over the years that THE NEED IS OFTEN THE CALL. So ladies the NEED is real. You alone can meet that need, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart but most of all the Lord smiles upon you and your children. What more would you ask?
