1. Has there ever been a time when you compared the state of your relationship with Jesus to some other believer’s and felt that yours was lacking or less than theirs? Describe.
2. Have you ever felt that your efforts in ministry were small and insignificant compared to other Christian’s? Explain.
3. Did either of these scenarios tempt you to say something like, “Oh well, my relationship with Jesus is never going to be as great as so-in-so’s, or my ministry will never be a great or a big as so-in-so’s, whats the use. I’m wasting my time. My efforts are insignificant. I may as well just stop…it doesn’t matter anyway.” Describe.
