MEN:
1. Begin to look for this spiritual battle in your wife and around you. Pay attention to it. Ask Jesus to show it to you.
2. Start paying attention to your reaction both internal and external when your wife struggles to fulfill her role.
3. Ask you wife if she would like to participate with the upcoming take home assignments concerning her role in your relationship.
WOMEN:
1. Begin to look for any place in your thinking or heart where you may be believing the lies that regarding your role in the marriage relationship. Ask Jesus to show it to you.
2. Begin looking for behaviors from yourself that may show that you have been believing those lies.
3. Be willing to participate in the upcoming take home assignments regarding your role in the marriage.
VERSES
Ephesians 5:21-24 (NKJV)
…submitting to one another in the fear of God. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Ephesians 5:33 (NKJV)
Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Titus 2:3-5 (NKJV)
…the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
