Thad’s Message on Making Disciples [Part 3a] – Trying or Relying

LIFE APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT

1.       When it comes to obeying Jesus as a believer by being active in the Great Commission: Would you say that the greater focus or priority of your life here on earth is Jesus’ Kingdom oriented, or your kingdom oriented? (Hint: a my-kingdom oriented man when it comes to making-disciples would say something like this: “I’d like to obey Jesus and make-disciples, but I just don’t have time…” A Jesus’-Kingdom oriented man would say something like this: “I am very busy with work, family, etc., but I am determined to make time to obey my Lord and be active in making-disciples.”). Be transparent.

2.       Pray. Begin praying and asking Jesus to choose someone for you to disciple. Expect an answer!! Be ready to actually begin when He brings an opportunity. Please come next time and describe the content and results of your praying.
