For this week, I’d like for everyone to internalize 1 Thess. 5:16-18. If you have already done so, then please choose 2 or 3 others from the list above to internalize this week.
Life Application Assignment:
- We are commanded to: rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks. How much time do you think you spend thinking about these 3 commands?
- How do these commands come across to you? For example: As burdensome? As impossible? As unrealistic? As things that seem to come naturally to you? As things you struggle with? As things that honestly, you rarely think about? As great joys in your life? Be detailed and specific.
- Of the 3: rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, which one comes the easiest for you (and why)? Which one do you struggle with the most (and why)? Be thorough in your answers.
